Creating CRE Program Plans

The CRE Application worksheet will help you to organize ideas and list information about conflict education that has been learned during a school conflict management training, CRETE training, higher education courses, conferences or other trainings or workshops on the topics. A sample of a completed worksheet is pictured here.

The information gathered on the form will be beneficial in making decisions as to what types of activities to include in a curriculum integration and/or classroom management action plan.

• The worksheets can be used as often as necessary as "notes" pages to help collect and organize information educators might want to include in their action plans on curriculum integration and classroom management.

The more detailed information recorded on the sample application form, such as book, page number, name, etc., the easier it will be to create the final action plan.

• When completing the form, consider how the activities or resources may need to be adapted to a particular grade level, special education class or a particular subject area that the instructor may work with.

On the next page of the module, an introduction to a list of resources is presented that can be downloaded and printed. The annotated bibliography can be used in planning and researching various types of activities related to conflict resolution that can be inserted into a lesson plan.
